The Energy of Addictions – Mary Hammond
Course Description:

Energy Medicine and Energy Psychology models work on many levels with addictions. At the very least we can use the meridian points to reduce craving. In more complex processes we can use our models to collapse the limiting beliefs that create the energetic package of denial. Mary believes the determinant of full recovery from a substance or a process addiction is the person’s willingness to deepen their spiritual life, which changes the vibration of their energy field and collapses the need to use. Energy Medicine and Energy Psychology interventions clear the path for this deepening.
This workshop will demonstrate viewing the dis-ease of addiction as energetic. Thus, denial is energetic, dis-ease is energetic, neurology is energetic, and relapse is energetic. Step by step, strategies will be demonstrated to energetically treat substance addictions: alcohol, drugs, food, and process addictions: sexual, gambling, shopping, relationships, media etc. Gradually we shift the energy of: 1) craving, 2) the interface of trauma and addiction, 3) relapse, 4) addiction as a disease process, and 5) the physical, mental, emotional, mental, and spiritual aspects of addiction.
Presenter Bio:
Mary Hammond entered the field of Addictions over two decades ago working in play therapy with children of alcoholics. She went on to work in Addictions Treatment and develop a major Addictions Counselor Training Program at Chemeketa Community College in Salem Oregon. She went on to develop a private practice with a focus on trauma and addictions, working with which led her to Energy Psychology and Energy Medicine. Over the years she has deepened and broadened her work publishing in both play therapy and energy psychology/medicine.

Course Description:
Couple therapy is challenging. Studies of its effectiveness have been painfully disappointing. Insights and understanding that help individuals evolve on their path are not so useful for couples. Communication techniques that work in the office go lame when Triple Warmer is running the show. As therapists have come to understand the neurochemistry of attachment and bonding, however, their ability to help couples has improved substantially. Energy Psychology brings a particularly powerful tool for shifting the neural pathways that keep partners trapped in old or dysfunctional patterns. This class is directed toward professionals who work with couples but is open to anyone interested in the topic.

David’s personal mythology model grew out of his research at Hopkins in the early 1970s and was first presented there in 1974. Since then he has made hundreds of presentations on the topic, from keynote addresses at conferences to a 5-day intensive workshop he has offered in venues from Big Sur to South Africa. The third edition of his award-winning book, Personal Mythology, shows how energy psychology techniques can be integrated into the personal mythology model, enhancing both.
This presentation will provide a brief overview of the topics covered in the 5-day workshop and show where and how energy psychology techniques can be used to enhance the depth exploration of the psyche. More important, it will provide an experiential speed-through of the model that will help you identify where your own personal mythology may not be serving you and how to use energy psychology, imagery, and other techniques to make a positive shift.

Why do two clients with similar health conditions have such vastly different outcomes with Energy Medicine techniques? In some cases there may be an emotional block preventing energy flows. Energy Psychology addresses disruptions in the energy system caused by traumatic experiences and beliefs. EFT (Emotional Freedom Techniques), the most widely used form of Energy Psychology, collapses negative emotions allowing healing energy to flow. When used in combination, EFT and EEM can help you achieve highly effective results, even in the most difficult cases!
This presentation will show you how to integrate EFT into your Energy Medicine tool kit, with a focus on using EFT to address emotional blocks to wellness. All attendees will have the opportunity to experience the use of EFT on themselves during group practical exercises.
Topics discussed will include: a) Identifying and addressing psychological blocks underlying physical symptoms, b) Using EFT for energy disruptions that contribute to emotional challenges, c) Psychological Reversal and secondary benefits, d) Specific events, aspects, core issues, the EFT Movie Technique, quantifying emotional distress, and testing your work, and e) EFT gentle techniques for trauma and ethical and scope of practice issues related to working with trauma and serious emotional disturbances.
Presenter Bio:
Dale Paula Teplitz is an Energy Psychology expert specializing in EFT since 1998. As a passionate believer in combining EFT with EEM, she has used EEM to turbo-charge results with over one thousand EFT clients and workshop attendees throughout her Energy Psychology career. Trained by EFT founder Gary Craig, and a recipient of his official EFT Certification, Dale is a Certified EFT Expert, Trainer and Mentoring Consultant. She also trains and mentors Eden Energy Medicine practitioners who wish to integrate EFT into their Energy Medicine practices.

Radiant Rainbow Spirit Technique – Risa Hearn

The class will open by having you strengthen each of your Radiant Circuits and then bringing to mind a nagging issue and checking to see what Radiant Circuit goes out. You will then find the color that will balance each of those Radiant Circuits. With a flashlight (to be provided) and Innersource color gels, use that color to balance that Radiant Circuit. With that action, the issue is affected. You may have to go through more that one Radiant Circuit using the same procedure.
Attendees will be led through a review of Radiant Circuits, Energy Testing on another person, self testing, basics of color combinations (red, yellow, blue, e.g., yellow and blue create green etc.), and practice of the procedure on a partner and themselves. You will leave this session with a new skill to help release those little nagging issues that build up over time. Caveat: This is not a procedure for deep issues that need professional help.

Risa Hearn has been a student of Donna Eden’s Energy Medicine since 2000. She has been a Faculty Member of the Eden Energy Medicine Certification Program since its inception in 2006. After struggling with ill health, Energy Medicine changed her life. She is the creator of the “Radiant Rainbow Spirit Technique” protocol developed using Eden Energy Medicine techniques.

He was also an Instructor Trainer for the Touch for Health Foundation with Shanti Duree and Gordon Stokes, co-creator of the One Brain System. Shanti Duree is an internationally known educator, author, lecturer, counselor, hypnotherapist, Professional Specialized Kinesiologist and Energy Medicine Practitioner.
